MALLOW

Latin Name: Malva sylvestris
Family: Malavaceae
Height: 60-120cm

Pink-purple flowers. Leaves fade in colour with age. A very safe plant to feed to both rabbits and cavies of all ages.

Constituents: Mucilage, essential oil and trace of tannin.

Actions: Demulcent, anti-inflammatory, expectorant, astringent.
