Where to find Guinea Pig or Cavy Rescues

Cavy rescues take in guinea pigs that are in need of a home. Some rescues never re-home a guinea pig once it comes into their care. Instead they accept donations from people or fund raise to support the guinea pigs in their care. Other rescues do re-home guinea pigs unless they have major health problems.

The advantages of getting a guinea from a rescue

There are a lot of unwanted guinea pigs sitting in cavy rescues awaiting good homes in local rescues.

Many cavy rescues will also be available for ongoing advice and support, as well as boarding.
